Our talented and diverse faculty are among the most-honored nationwide with memberships in the National Academy of Engineering, American Academy of Arts & Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences and who garner awards like the National Medal of Science, the Guggenheim Fellowship, and even the Nobel Prize. Each year, hundreds of students perform important, publishable research in close collaboration with senior faculty. Our faculty educate students for careers of leadership and innovation and prepare them to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In addition, UCLA Engineering faculty continue to champion cutting edge research and education that is multi-disciplinary in nature and responsive to the needs of society.

Full-time Faculty Positions Available:

UCLA Engineering is current accepting applications to fill full-time faculty positions for Assistant, Associate, and full Professors in all seven of its departments. Applicants much hold a doctoral degree in engineering or closely related disciplines. Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and for developing a strong, externally sponsored research program.
